On a serene evening beneath the leafy canopies of Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore’s historic green lung, three luminaries of Pakistani literature and civil society came together for a heartfelt birthday celebration at The Cosmopolitan Club—a venue steeped in colonial charm and intellectual legacy.
The gathering honored:
- Aslam Gurdaspuri – Beloved Punjabi and Urdu poet, known for his soulful verses and deep connection to rural Punjab
- Sohail Warraich – Acclaimed journalist, author, and fearless political commentator
- M. Saeed – Chairman of the Interculturele Progressieve Stichting (IPS) and a tireless advocate for intercultural dialogue
